Plato Solder Pot
Plato Solder Pot is Digitally Controlled and exceeds the requirements of Military Specification ANSI (J-STD-001B). The solder pot has a temperature range from ambient to 925°F (496°C) and an LCD temperature display. Standard features includes:

• Precision temperature controlled to ± 5°F (± 2.75°C)
• Capacity from 2 lbs to 32lbs depending on the model
• Removable dross tray for easy cleaning.
• Three-wire, grounded UL listed cord.
• A new solid state controller that limits transient voltage spiking
• LCD that displays preset temperature and operating temperature

American Beauty Soldering Pots are general purpose and have industry wide recognition for superior performance. Some of the feautures include Dross skimmer. Dross skimmers are safer and more efficient than paddles, spoons or sticks that contaminate solder and lower temperature. Some of the common features are:

Model 12, 20 and 36 are designed for Dip Soldering of individual Wire Leads.
Model 37 and 70 are designed for Dip Soldering and Tinning of larger Parts and when more heat is required.
Model 75 and 80 are used extensively for short run soldering and desoldering of through hole printed circuit boards.
Model 71T is a large capacity solder pot with deep crucible for long parts. It is equipped with Thermostat temperature control and Dross Tray.

Porcelain Solder Pots are generally RoHS compatible and are easy to clean and offers long service life. Solder will not adhere to the crucible surface, allowing for easy maintenance. These Solder Pots are resistant to corrosion that is common with activated fluxes and high tin content solders.
